The Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, respects your privacy. Personal information you provide to the Rotman School is collected pursuant to section 2(14) of the University of Toronto Act, 1971. It is collected for the purpose of administering admissions, registration, programs, Rotman-related participant activities, safety, advancement, and reporting to government agencies for statistical purposes. At all times it will be protected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

The University of Toronto has established the FIPP Office to handle matters related to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The office oversees implementation and administration of access and protection of privacy in the University and the FIPP Act consists of the following mandate:

  1. To provide the public a right of access to university information subject to limited exemptions; and
  2. To protect the privacy of individuals with respect to personal information about themselves held by universities and to provide individuals with a right of access to that information.
